On 10th October 2012, the Centre for European Studies at Chulalongkorn University had the pleasure of receiving Dr. Tomasz Gerlach, first counselor for the promotion of science, technology, economic cooperation and culture to the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Bangkok. During the meeting Dr. Tomasz Gerlach and Dr. Charit Tingsabadh, acting director of CES, discussed the issues related to the bilateral relations between Thailand and the Republic of Poland. In addition, CES and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Bangkok have planned on publishing the proceedings of a special lecture entitled “Poland and Solidarity Movement that has changed Europe”, which was organized on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Maha Chulalongkorn Building, Room 105, Chulalongkorn University.
